Marielle Divino is a Toronto-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer.

Blending sounds of alternative R&B, indie pop, and folk, Marielle writes and produces introspective, slow-burning songs rooted in emotion and texture. Her debut single “tired,” released on New Year’s Day of 2021, was created as a final project during her time in an independent music production program - marking the beginning of a self-directed path that continues to evolve. A graduate of both music production and music business programs, Marielle brings a thoughtful, holistic approach to her craft. Her debut EP Eye to Eye, released in October 2024, is a layered collection of personal vignettes, shaped in collaboration with Hans Li (co-production, mixing, mastering), Justice Der (guitars), Seth Subeck (keys), and Stephen Bennett (drums). Her first headline show took place at The Baby G in Toronto in November 2024. Marielle’s live experience extends beyond her solo work; she has performed as a backup vocalist, guitarist, and bassist with Ruru, touring intimate stages across Toronto and Montreal. Her creative reach also spans to film - she’s composed original music and sound design for short films Siblings and Melody by Sima Naseem, and is currently scoring a new project with director Kate McGall.

The cartoon bunny clip art is an ode to her first bunny, Yuki.

To this day, Marielle's music remains a quiet archive of love, friendship, films, and the tender spaces in between.
